Thank you Pete and Ivy for your selflessness in bringing us these DVDs. I have your book already but there were things I still didn't quite understand or perhaps had skipped over. Your dvds filled all those gaps but perhaps even more important, was that as an owner of a chronic laminitis sufferer who also foundered this year with rotated and sinking P3's, Pete forced the issue of my negligence down my throat so that I couldn't put my head in the sand when rehabilitation and diet changes became too much for me to deal with. I only wish he and Ivy would come to Australia as I have one of those horses with the oddest and most concerning foot pathologies which I desperately need help with.
If you're thinking about getting these DVDs though, I would strongly recommend that you start with Pete's book first. The book explains the hoof more clearly with all the different pathologies of what can go wrong and how to treat, as well as having all the contributing authors to shed even more light on the hoof and the horse as a whole.
I've just purchased In The Trenches because I cannot get enough of Pete's teachings. It's like putting a brand new computer chip in your head. You'll never look at horses and their feet the same way again!

I'm a newbie to barefoot hoof care and found this DVD set a wonderful starting point. Even if you are experienced in barefoot, this would be a great buy. It covers a lot of information! Thanks for making it!

Thank you Pete and Ivy for making this dvd for all horse owners! I had a barefoot trimmer for my horses and she moved away so I've been struggling to maintain my horses feet with a proper trim. There is so much valuable information presented in an easy to understand manner in this set that I feel confident about trimming without doing harm. Keep up the good work!

I can't say enough about the video series. I started doing my horses' feet several years ago after studying everything I could get my hands on, including one of Pete Ramey's books. What was fascinating was seeing Pete work on a horse with the exact foot issues my QH has. With ownership of the videos comes repeat class time on any segment that you can't quite remember. Knowledge is power. Only a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing. I feel even more empowered now. Pete is so honest about his own mistakes, has no ego, just one-on-one friendly training. This was certainly worth every penny. Thanks, Pete.

This is the best hoof biomechanics information as well as teaching tool for hoof trimming that I've ever seen in lay language. It is wonderful and Mr. Ramey does a great job of helping the average horse owner as well as veterinarians and farriers understand the principles in a helpful and encouraging way.
It is worth every penny.
All the common issues are addressed.
There are many sample cases that help display the principles.
I was mesmerized and watched it well into the night! Couldn't put it down!

This dvd series is of immense help for me as a novice, Pete Ramey speaks eloquently and gets straight to the point with comprehensive equine study and easy to understand instructions. My horses and their hooves are getting better so quickly that I will NEVER shoe them EVER again. I live in a very stoney and arid region of Australia and recommend this clinic to everyone regardless of experience or the environment in their part of the World as a valuable aid in the management of Hoof Health.

After reading all the available books, looking at all the YouTube videos about trimming, I found here for the first time the explanations/confirmations I wanted to hear. Thanks a lot for sharing your experience so clearly.

After 12 yrs of integrated horse life, we found it was time to investigate what all the adamant barefoot talk was about. Pete's books and DVDs come highly recommended so we felt it was necessary to include them in our research. It has solidified our decision to proceed this direction of allowing all of our horses to be barefoot. We know there is a learning curve, as with anything, but the book and DVDs we acquired from hoofrehab store are answering every question we stable upon. Looking forward to more learning, and then sharing with our horse friends!

Very clear and useful tool for those that started trimming by their own their horses ( like us ), and for the ones that want to refine and understand more about this innovative ' possibility' for the horses. We live in italy and the situation here is very retarded compared to america, We had some experiences with professional trimmers but the result were very unsatisfying, and now I know why....Now we feel less alone in this path toward a more natural life for our horses and donkey. Moreover I found fantastic the passion and the love for the wellbeing of the horses, that we could 'breathe' during the all series. Thank you so much Pete and kind wife for the road you showed us!!!
